Did you hear that?

Everyone has a sound.

It’s the birds at 4:30 in the morning when you realize spring has finally taken hold. Or that remind you that last night is edging dangerously close to reality. It’s Grandma’s radiator that you swear you could set your watch to, even today. It’s the Monday after school lets out for the summer, and you suddenly notice the absence of recess.

Sound is woven into the fabric of our lives - and whether it’s the principal player, or the supporting role - I’m here to help you find that sound. It’s what I do.

I’m an alum of the Harris Institute and the RTA program at (Ryerson) University, an enthusiastic football fan, and a ‘shovel your neighbour’s walk while you’re at it’ kind of guy. I’ve been working in audio for well over a decade as an engineer, sound designer and mixer for a myriad of exciting projects in film, music, video gaming, radio, television, virtual reality and podcasts. I’m a film photography enthusiast - but mostly for the sake of having pictures to eventually embarrass my daughter with. I still feel as at home in a commercial kitchen as I do in the studio. I was once called the second greatest tiger wrestler, and won’t ever attempt to prove it. If you’re packing ultralight for a crown land trip but still keep room for rod and tackle, we’re talking the same language. Preparation. Execution. Follow-through. It may seem cliché, but these three tenements can see almost any endeavour through to its finish.

I look forward to working with you.
